Eunpyeong-gu To Hold Opening Ceremony for Youth Future Education Center "Onbit" on February 11

On February 11, Eunpyeong-gu in Seoul (District Mayor Kim Mikyung) announced that it would hold an opening ceremony for the Eunpyeong-gu Future Education Center Onbit, a future education hub space designed to strengthen future competencies for youth.

Eunpyeong-gu Future Education Center Onbit is a youth-centered educational space that offers future technology experiences such as robotics, drones, and artificial intelligence (AI) education, as well as support for career and academic pathway planning, and arts-based after-school programs.

The opening ceremony will be held at the Vision Hall of the Eunpyeong-gu Future Education Center (8, Yeonseo-ro 46-gil), with local youth, parents, education officials, and community residents in attendance. On that day, various programs will be offered, including a robot performance, virtual reality (VR) and AI city simulator experiences, and special lectures for parents on customized university entrance strategies for each local high school.

The interior of Onbit consists of a future technology experience zone, a counseling area for careers and academic pathways, and studios for arts and cultural activities. The first floor is equipped with studios such as an ensemble room and a dance studio for youth arts activities, while the second floor houses a Robot Zone, a VR Zone, and the career and academic counseling room "Future On." The district plans to expand programs in connection with schools and local institutions in the future to strengthen the foundation for future education.

District Mayor Kim Mikyung of Eunpyeong-gu said, "Eunpyeong-gu Future Education Center Onbit will be the starting point of future education, where the learning of today for youth leads to the possibilities of tomorrow," adding, "We will continue to expand the educational environment in which young people can discover their dreams and grow."
