This training program has been prepared to cultivate key talent who will lead the future of local agriculture through a systematic and professional curriculum, and to make a tangible contribution to increasing farm household income by enhancing productivity and added value through hands-on processing and entrepreneurship training.
The course will run for a total of 10 sessions and 45 hours, from the entrance ceremony on February 10 through April 14. The main curriculum covers theory necessary for starting a business in agricultural products processing, as well as practical, field-oriented content such as HACCP hygiene management, product development, and on-site training.
In particular, this year’s curriculum includes content that reflects the latest trends, such as "Understanding Agricultural Entrepreneurship," marketing success cases using artificial intelligence (AI), video production using Google Gemini, and sales strategies through YouTube and live streaming, which are drawing strong interest from participants.
In addition, practical training to learn manufacturing techniques for products such as vegetable and fruit juices, jams, and freeze-dried items will be conducted using the Sunchang-gun Integrated Agricultural Products Processing Center.
An official from Sunchang-gun said, "We hope that through this training, farmers will grow into experts who do not stop at simple production, but also cover processing and distribution," adding, "We will continue to expand tailored professional training so that farms can create high added value and realize 'profitable agriculture' through practical activation of processing."
Meanwhile, participants who complete at least 75% of the course (33 hours), which is the completion requirement, will be issued a certificate of completion. The county also plans to support them in establishing stable farming operations by linking the program with agricultural products processing support projects promoted by Sunchang-gun in the future.
