Lee Beomsoo, Reaches Amicable Divorce with Lee Yunjin Two Years After Marital Split

Mutual Agreement Without Legal Disputes

Actor Lee Beomsoo and translator Lee Yunjin have concluded their marriage following mutual discussions.

On February 6, Lee Beomsoo's agency Y1 Entertainment stated in an official announcement, "Mr. Lee Beomsoo has amicably finalized the legal procedures related to the divorce by mutual agreement."

The agency continued, "Through sufficient conversations, the two have resolved the misunderstandings that had built up over time, and they have agreed that, going forward, they will respect and support each other from their respective positions as the parents of their children." The agency also requested, "We ask that you refrain from baseless speculation or criticism toward the parties and their families, as well as from spreading information that is not true."

It added, "For the emotional stability and privacy of the children, we ask that there be no further comments or sensational interpretations regarding their married life or the divorce process."

On the same day, Lee Yunjin also personally shared the news of the divorce through her social media (SNS). She stated, "After ending our approximately 15-year marriage, Mr. Lee Beomsoo and I, following sufficient discussions, have reached a mutual agreement to divorce."

She went on to say, "We have cleared up the misunderstandings caused by a lack of communication during our marriage, and we have decided to remain in a relationship where we respect and support each other as the parents of our children," adding, "I hope you will continue to look kindly upon actor Lee Beomsoo's future endeavors."

Lee Beomsoo and Lee Yunjin married in 2010 and have one son and one daughter. They previously appeared together on the KBS2 entertainment program "The Return of Superman," where they shared their family life with the public. The two drew attention when news of their marital breakdown became known in 2024.

Since then, they have been living with different bases for their daily lives. Lee Beomsoo and their son have been living in Korea, while Lee Yunjin is reported to have stayed in Bali, Indonesia, with their daughter, who attends an international school.
