In Italian, the official name of South Korea is "Repubblica di Corea," and it appears that "Corea" was used as the basis for the parade order. South Korea has been placed between Colombia and Croatia.
The Greek delegation, representing the birthplace of the ancient Olympics, will enter first in keeping with tradition, while the host nation Italy will enter last as the 92nd team.
Figure skater Cha Junhwan and speed skater Park Jiwoo will serve as flagbearers.
