Exhibition Linked to Independence Activists
On the 4th, Jungnang District in Seoul (Mayor Ryu Kyunggi) announced on the 5th that it had signed a memorandum of understanding with the National Memorial for the Provisional Government of the Republic of Korea (Director Kim Heegon) for cooperation in exhibition operations.
The core of the agreement is to hold the National Memorial's flagship traveling exhibition, "Memory Box of the Provisional Government of the Republic of Korea," at Mangwoo History and Culture Park. Going forward, the two parties will also cooperate in the exchange and operation of historical and cultural exhibition and educational content.

"Memory Box of the Provisional Government of the Republic of Korea" is a mobile exhibition that chronologically presents the establishment and activities of the Provisional Government of the Republic of Korea, and has toured major historical and cultural facilities across the country. It will be held in the education exhibition hall at Mangwoo History and Culture Park.
This exhibition focuses on the historical links between Mangwoo Park and the Provisional Government. By presenting the establishment of the Provisional Government and the independence movement through visual and experiential content, it will also shed light on the activities of independence activists laid to rest in Mangwoo Park. Representative figures include Dosan Ahn Changho, as well as activists Park Chan-ik and Yoo Sangkyu.
Ryu Kyunggi, Mayor of Jungnang District, stated, "Mangwoo History and Culture Park is a symbolic place where the history of Korea's independence is alive and breathing," adding, "Through this cooperation, we will ensure that Mangwoo History and Culture Park can establish itself as a leading historical and cultural venue for learning about Korea's modern and contemporary history."
