From Crime Prevention to Victim Recovery
BNK Financial Group is stepping up to support victims of financial crimes that harm people's livelihoods, such as voice phishing.
BNK Financial Group (Chairman Bin Daein) announced that on the afternoon of the 4th it signed a business agreement at the Busan Police Agency to prevent financial crimes that harm people's livelihoods and to provide emergency support for victims.
BNK Financial Group, the Busan Police Agency, and the Busan Branch of the Korean Red Cross participated in this agreement. It was prepared to build a cooperative system to prevent financial crimes such as voice phishing, romance scams, and investment fraud, which threaten the daily lives and livelihoods of ordinary citizens, and to ensure that swift and practical support can be provided when damage occurs.

Through the BNK Financial Group Hope Sharing Foundation, BNK Financial Group plans to raise a fund of 200 million won to support victims of financial crimes that harm people's livelihoods, and to promote various response measures to protect financial consumers and prevent financial damage.
The Busan Police Agency will cooperate to identify victims of financial crimes at an early stage so that practical support can be provided, and the Busan Branch of the Korean Red Cross will be responsible for providing emergency support to victims using the established fund. Through this, each organization plans to strengthen the local community safety net along with activities to prevent financial crimes that harm people's livelihoods.
Bin Daein, Chairman of BNK Financial Group, said, "I hope this agreement will provide practical help to victims who are struggling due to financial fraud," adding, "We will continue to fulfill our social responsibility for the prevention of financial fraud and relief for victims."
Eom Seonggyu, Commissioner of the Busan Police Agency, emphasized, "We will continue to advance the protection measures linked to reports of large cash withdrawals and the emergency support system for victims, and we will create a public safety environment in which citizens can live with peace of mind through cooperation with the local community."
