Sensorview Sees Defense Mass-Production Revenue Emerging...Unveils Expansion Strategy for New Industries

Sensorview, a specialist in wired and wireless ultra-high-speed radio frequency (RF) connectivity solutions as well as radar and antenna technologies, held a corporate presentation (IR) for domestic and overseas institutional investors on February 4 at the Korea Financial Investment Association’s Financial Investment Education Center in Yeouido, Seoul, where it shared its current business status and future growth strategies.

Sensorview Sees Defense Mass-Production Revenue Emerging...Unveils Expansion Strategy for New Industries

At this corporate presentation, the company outlined its strategies for both its existing businesses, including the defense sector, and a wide range of new industries, based on the technological competitiveness it has accumulated in the high-frequency millimeter-wave (mmWave) RF communication segment.

Sensorview supplies communication components such as cables, connectors, and antennas in the mmWave RF communication domain. It operates a business model that provides these components as integrated solutions tailored to customer requirements. Leveraging its design and manufacturing capabilities that minimize signal loss even in high-frequency environments, the company is expanding the application scope of its products in the defense and advanced industry sectors.

In particular, major localization development projects aimed at replacing imports in the defense sector are transitioning into mass-production phases, making full-scale mass-production revenue increasingly visible. The company also explained that, from a profitability standpoint, if Sensorview’s products successfully replace imported items through localization, it will be able to secure profit margins comparable to those previously achieved by overseas products.

Based on its global technological competitiveness, Sensorview presented strategies to expand business opportunities in new industries such as aerospace (6G communication satellite antenna subsystem projects), artificial intelligence (AI) data centers (supply of AEC cables), and quantum computing (supply of cryogenic cables and integrated modules).

Chief Executive Officer Kim Byoungnam of Sensorview said, “In the defense sector, we expect full-scale mass-production revenue to be generated as the major development projects we have been pursuing move into the mass-production phase,” adding, “Based on our globally competitive high-frequency mmWave RF communication technologies, we are also expanding business opportunities in new industries such as aerospace, AI data centers, and quantum computing.”
