Bit Corporation, an AI robot company under Danal, announced on January 30 that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Airk, a smart retail company, for a joint project to develop next-generation unmanned hybrid stores.

Through this agreement, the companies will expand hybrid complex stores nationwide that combine the robot caf? "b;eat" and the AI convenience store "PnGo." The pilot store "PnGo x b;eat," which opened preemptively at the Busan Cultural Center in December 2025, served as the foundation for this expansion. Both companies have empirically verified that AI robot-based unmanned automation systems can ensure stable sales and high operational efficiency even in specialized commercial districts, solidifying their confidence in the business.

Bit Corporation plans to use this collaboration as an opportunity to accelerate its transformation into a more advanced AI robot platform company, moving beyond just robot caf?s. The company intends to further enhance the unmanned retail value chain and, by applying a new AI robot platform to its planned entry into the Japanese market this year, accelerate its global business expansion.

Airk, the key partner in this project, is a promising smart retail company recognized for its proprietary "AI Unmanned Robot Convenience Store System" technology and was selected for the Ministry of SMEs and Startups' Pre-TIPS program. In December 2025, Airk successfully opened its first "PnGo" store in Gimhae, Gyeongsangnam-do, demonstrating both its technological capabilities and market potential. Its automatic payment system, which requires no separate scanning, is expected to create synergy with Bit Corporation's AI robot platform strategy.

A Bit Corporation representative stated, "By combining the proven AI robot technology of b;eat with Airk's PnGo retail service, we have secured a differentiated competitive edge. Through this partnership, we will expand collaborative stores nationwide, set a new standard for the next-generation unmanned service market, and further enhance Bit Corporation's brand value as a specialized AI robot platform company."
