[Asset Disclosure] Employment Minister Kim Younghoon Reports 1.31 Billion Won in Assets... Buildings 560 Million, Deposits 430 Million Won

Kim Younghoon, Minister of Employment and Labor, has reported assets worth 1.3 billion won.

According to the ad hoc asset registration details of high-ranking officials released by the Government Public Officials Ethics Committee on January 30, the total assets of Minister Kim, his spouse, children, and mother amount to 1,314,230,000 won.

This is an increase of approximately 280 million won compared to the 1,034,380,000 won reported in July of last year, when he was a nominee and submitted a personnel hearing request.

Among the assets, the value of land owned by Minister Kim and his mother totals 207,820,000 won. Minister Kim owns rice paddies and fields in Daepyeong-ri, Jinbuk-myeon, Masanhappo-gu, Changwon, Gyeongsangnam-do, valued at 69,520,000 won (987.50㎡), 45,160,000 won (523.33㎡), and 16,040,000 won (486.00㎡), respectively.

His mother also owns land in the same area, valued at 69,520,000 won (987.50㎡) and 7,580,000 won (210.00㎡).

Minister Kim reported the value of buildings, including an apartment in Busanjin-gu, Busan, and a detached house in Changwon, Gyeongsangnam-do, totaling 564,000,000 won.

As for deposits, Minister Kim holds 429,000,000 won, his mother 76,000,000 won, and his eldest son 32,000,000 won, respectively.

Minister Kim also owns a 2006 Jaguar with a 3.0-liter (2967cc) engine under his name, valued at 4,330,000 won.
