On January 29, during its earnings conference call for the fourth quarter of last year, Samsung Electronics stated, "We are focusing on stabilizing the 2-nanometer Gate-All-Around (GAA) process while ensuring the timely development of subsequent processes. In terms of packaging technology, we are continuously working to strengthen our competitiveness in advanced process areas."
The company added, "With the full-scale mass production of 3-nanometer and 2-nanometer processes, demand remains solid. Although we expect a seasonal slowdown in demand in the first quarter of this year, we anticipate that the overall market will continue to grow, driven by price increases in advanced processes."
Regarding the second-generation 2-nanometer process, the company said, "Mass production of new products will begin in the second half of this year."
