GH to Place 419.3 Billion Won in Construction and Service Orders This Year, Focusing on Phase 3 New Towns

Gyeonggi Housing and Urban Development Corporation (GH) will issue construction and service contracts totaling 419.3 billion won this year to ensure the smooth progress of major projects, including the third phase of new towns, and to revitalize the local economy.

The total volume consists of 53 construction projects (204.7 billion won), 252 service contracts (177.3 billion won), and 294 supply contracts (37.3 billion won), amounting to 599 contracts in total.

Major construction and service projects are concentrated in the third phase of new towns, including: ▲ the construction of a multi-level interchange improvement project at KINTEX (61.1 billion won); ▲ construction of external roads (connection facilities) for the Ansan Janghang public housing district (30 billion won); ▲ expansion of Namyangju Wangsuk City Road No. 20 (22.5 billion won); ▲ supervision authority delegation for Gwangmyeong Hakon S1~S3 blocks and others (33.5 billion won); ▲ supervision authority delegation for Namyangju Wangsuk site development project (Section 5) and others (14.9 billion won); and ▲ supervision authority delegation for Gwacheon Gwacheon site development project (Section 2) (13 billion won).

Kim Yongjin, President of GH, stated, "We will actively utilize the regional restriction bidding system in accordance with relevant ordinances and laws to support the participation of local construction companies," adding, "We will fulfill our social responsibility as a public corporation by revitalizing the local economy and creating quality jobs."
