Crashing Through Parking Lot Wall: Drunk Driving Incident in Hwamyeong-dong, Busan

An incident occurred in Hwamyeong-dong, Buk-gu, Busan, where a car driven under the influence of alcohol fell from a shopping center parking lot.

The Bukbu Police Station in Busan announced on January 26 that at around 7:30 PM on the 25th, a passenger car crashed through the outer wall and fell from the third floor to the first floor of a shopping center parking lot in Hwamyeong-dong, Buk-gu.

As a result of the accident, the male driver in his 30s sustained minor injuries and was transported to the hospital. It was confirmed that the driver was intoxicated at a level warranting license cancellation at the time of the accident.

The police have booked the driver on charges of violating the Road Traffic Act (drunk driving) and are investigating the exact circumstances of the accident.
