Enhypen's Sunghoon Selected as Torchbearer for Winter Olympics

Sunghoon, a member of the group Enhypen, will carry the Peace Torch at the 2026 Winter Olympics.

An official from Belieflab, the agency, announced on January 23, "Sunghoon will participate in the torch relay for the 25th Milano-Cortina d'Ampezzo Winter Olympics."

Sunghoon is a former national reserve figure skater and was appointed as a promotional ambassador for the Korean Sport & Olympic Committee in May of last year. On January 22, he attended the send-off ceremony for the Korean Olympic team held at Seoul Olympic Parktel and cheered on the Korean athletes.

The torchbearer lineup includes AC Milan advisor Zlatan Ibrahimovic and former Juventus defender Ciro Ferrara, among others. The specific schedule and route for Sunghoon's torch relay have not yet been released.

The 25th Milano-Cortina d'Ampezzo Winter Olympics will be held from February 6 to 22 in Milan and Cortina d'Ampezzo, Italy. Approximately 2,900 athletes from about 90 countries will compete in 116 events.

As of January 23, Korea has confirmed the participation of a total of 71 athletes. By sport, there are 11 in snowboarding, 10 in short track speed skating, 9 in speed skating, and 6 in figure skating, among others.
