Starting January 27, Gyeongbuk’s 22 Cities and Counties to Be Visited Across 10 Zones
Providing Tailored Information from R&D Selection Support to Specialized Projects
Gyeongbuk Technopark (President Ha Inseong, Gyeongbuk TP) will hold the "2026 Gyeongbuk Province On-Site Business Support Briefing" starting from January 27 to strengthen the competitiveness and balanced growth of local companies.
This briefing session has been organized to improve information accessibility for local businesses by having Gyeongbuk TP visit the sites directly to explain key R&D and support programs, as well as to seek practical collaboration measures for growth support.
The purpose is to systematically deliver information on core R&D and support programs to companies and to explore practical collaboration measures for growth support.
In particular, on January 29 at 2:00 PM, a large-scale integrated business briefing session will be held at the International Conference Room in the main building of Gyeongbuk TP (Gyeongsan).
This event will feature presentations on support programs from major related organizations, including Gyeongbuk TP, the Korea SMEs and Startups Agency, the Korea Institute of Agricultural Technology Promotion, the Korea Conformity Laboratories, the Gyeongbuk Center for Creative Economy & Innovation, knowledge centers within Gyeongbuk, and the Korea Technology Finance Corporation.
Main programs to be introduced at the briefing include government technology development selection support, the Technology Doctor Program, Growth Ladder, Metropolitan Small Business Agency, Smart Factory Construction, and Regional Leading R&D, all designed to support technological innovation for companies.
In addition, detailed guidelines will be provided for "region-customized specialized projects" reflecting the characteristics of each local government, such as Gyeongju, Yeongcheon, Sangju, Uiseong, Yeongyang, and Uljin, helping regional companies select the most suitable projects according to their circumstances.
The briefing sessions will be held across all 22 regions of Gyeongbuk, divided into 10 zones, and will continue until February 10, maximizing accessibility for participating companies.
Ha Inseong, President of Gyeongbuk TP, stated, "The growth of companies is the driving force of the region and the key engine for revitalizing the local economy," adding, "I hope this briefing session will serve as a meaningful opportunity for local small and medium-sized enterprises to lay the foundation for a new leap forward."
