President Park Jae Kyu of Kyungnam University Delivers Special Lecture for Advanced Course for Future Unification

Examining the Situation on the Korean Peninsula and Changes in the International Order

President Park Jae Kyu of Kyungnam University delivered a special lecture to the 15th class of students in the Advanced Course for Future Unification at the Peace Hall in the Changjo Building.

During the lecture held on the afternoon of January 22, President Park gave a special talk on the topic of "The Situation on the Korean Peninsula and Changes in Inter-Korean Relations," examining recent trends and developments in North-South relations.


He particularly introduced how North Korea is seeking response strategies through its relationships with neighboring countries amid changes in the international situation, emphasizing the need to understand the situation on the Korean Peninsula within a broader international context.


In addition, he exchanged views with the students on the realities faced by North Korean residents and shared thoughts on various challenges for peace and coexistence on the Korean Peninsula. Over 100 students from various classes, including the 15th class of the Advanced Course for Future Unification, attended the special lecture.


The Advanced Course for Future Unification, jointly operated by the Graduate School of Public Administration at Kyungnam University and the University of North Korean Studies, is a top-level policy education program that covers a wide range of fields including unification, diplomacy, security, international trade, humanities, and AI. The 15th class of the program will run until the end of January.
