Gwangju Employers Federation Successfully Hosts Friday Breakfast Forum with Dr. Cho Younggeun

The Gwangju Employers Federation announced on January 23 that it hosted a special lecture for its 1,710th Friday Breakfast Forum, inviting Dr. Cho Younggeun to speak on the topic of "Emotional Management and Communication Leadership."

The Friday Breakfast Forum, held at the Convention Hall on the third floor of the Holiday Inn Gwangju Hotel, proceeded in the following order: ▲ "What is the World Like Now? Reading Global Trends" ▲ "The Need for Emotional Leadership" ▲ "Principles of Management and Achieving Goals" ▲ "Understanding People as an Emotional Leader." In his lecture, Dr. Cho emphasized three key concepts: "YES, Heart, and Support."

Dr. Cho is the director of the High Touch Management Research Institute and operates the "Cho Younggeun TV" YouTube channel, which has 110,000 subscribers. He also serves as an advisory professor at the Korea Productivity Center. Previously, he was the head of the Sunhwang Management Research Institute and has delivered numerous lectures at major corporations and public institutions, including Samsung Electronics and Hyundai Motor Company, establishing himself as an expert in management and communication. His major publications include "Nine Levers," "I Also Want to Succeed," and "Innovation Strategies for Planners," among others.

The Gwangju Employers Federation currently has 889 member companies and is the longest-running breakfast forum among private economic organizations in Korea. By inviting distinguished figures and top experts, the forum is held every Friday for CEOs, local labor-management-government representatives, and opinion leaders, resulting in a steady increase in membership.

Yang Jinseok, Chairman of the Gwangju Employers Federation, stated, "Through this lecture, we learned a management philosophy that regards people as assets, not costs, and recognizes the importance of understanding and respecting the emotions, needs, and values of team members." He added, "By respecting members' opinions and sharing information transparently, we can enhance trust and cooperation and prevent conflicts."
