Starring Go Ah-sung, Byun Yo-han, and Moon Sang-min
A Story of Three Individuals Who Become the Light for Each Other
Director Lee Jongpil, who has captured the fleeting moments of youth facing harsh realities through works such as "Samjin Company English Class" and "Escape," returns with a melodrama.
Netflix announced on January 23 that it will release the film "Pavane," starring Go Ah-sung, Byun Yo-han, and Moon Sang-min, on February 20. The film depicts the journey of three men and women who have closed off their hearts, as they confront life and love through each other.
The story begins when Mijeong (Go Ah-sung), a woman hiding from the gaze of others, Kyungrok (Moon Sang-min), who has given up on his dreams and adapted to reality, and Johan (Byun Yo-han), a free spirit who enjoys rock music, meet in a department store parking lot. The film centers on how these individuals, each bearing different wounds, build relationships by filling each other's voids.
Director Lee Jongpil addresses the growing pains of youth with his signature delicate perspective, as seen in his previous works. The film is expected to go beyond a simple romance, exploring the essence of relationships and the meaning of love.
