The Broadcasting, Media and Communications Committee and the Korea Broadcast Advertising Corporation announced on January 22 that they will hold an open call for the "2026 Broadcast Advertising Production Support Project for Small and Medium Enterprises and Small Business Owners" for about a month starting today.

Through this program, a total of 137 companies will be selected and supported, including 23 small and medium enterprises and 114 small business owners.

Selected small and medium enterprises will be eligible for support of up to 45 million won, covering up to 50% of TV advertising production costs, or up to 3 million won, covering up to 70% of radio advertising production costs. Small business owners can receive support of up to 9 million won, covering up to 90% of broadcast advertising production and airing costs.

Professional consulting will also be provided, covering broadcast advertising planning, production, and utilization by experts in broadcast advertising marketing.

This year, for small and medium enterprises, the eligibility criteria have been expanded to include six categories, such as existing venture company, Innobiz, and Mainbiz certifications, as well as AI-related certifications and youth-friendly small giants.

To revitalize the local economy, 83 small business owners located outside the Seoul metropolitan area will be given priority, while the remaining slots will be filled based on scores regardless of region.

The application period for small and medium enterprises is from 9:00 a.m. on January 22 to 6:00 p.m. on February 23, and for small business owners, from 9:00 a.m. on January 22 to 6:00 p.m. on February 24.
