Chungnam Province has positioned youth entrepreneurship as a core pillar of its regional growth strategy and is supporting a full-cycle startup support policy that incorporates Artificial Intelligence Transformation (AX).
The plan is to enhance the sustainability of youth startups through a structured support system that covers everything from the preparation phase to business expansion and investment linkage.
The Chungnam Center for Creative Economy and Innovation (hereafter Chungnam Innovation Center) announced on January 22 that it will make 2026 a turning point for revitalizing youth entrepreneurship and will actively implement startup support policies that encompass the entire process from the preliminary stage to the growth stage.
The Chungnam Innovation Center will hold a business briefing session on February 9 to introduce its major startup support projects for 2026 and will release the startup policy directions and detailed support programs planned for the year.
This briefing will focus on the step-by-step support system centered on youth entrepreneurship and strategies for investment linkage.
The center has presented AX (AI Transformation)-based startup support and a one-stop support system as its core strategies for 2026.
Rather than stopping at simple idea discovery or short-term commercialization, the center aims to concentrate policy support on enabling youth startups to achieve real results through a structure that connects technology advancement, market validation, and investment linkage.
The Chungnam Innovation Center is currently recruiting participants for the "2026 Youth Startup and New Occupation Support Program" until February 2.
This program supports startups based on the creative ideas of young people in the Chungnam region and aims to establish a stable foundation for entrepreneurship through education, mentoring, and commercialization linkage.
Participating youth will receive startup education, expert mentoring, prototype production, and commercialization linkage programs. Companies with demonstrated growth potential can also access follow-up support programs and investment opportunities.
The center is also recruiting startups preparing for business advancement and market expansion through the "2026 Startup Leap Package Support Program" until January 27.
This program supports the scaling up of youth startups by providing commercialization funding and customized growth programs for each company.
A center official stated, "Youth entrepreneurship is a key factor in determining the sustainability of the regional economy," and added, "In 2026, we will further strengthen policy support so that youth startups can achieve tangible results in sales and investment."
Meanwhile, the Chungnam Innovation Center plans to sequentially announce various support programs throughout 2026 for youth startups at the preliminary, early, and growth stages. Details and participation methods for each program can be found at the business briefing session on February 9 and on the official website of the Chungnam Innovation Center.
