Icheon City to Offer "Cadastral Survey Pre-Consulting" for Land Development Projects

On January 22, the city of Icheon in Gyeonggi Province announced that it will implement a "Cadastral Confirmation Survey Pre-Consulting" system to prevent project delays caused by discrepancies in boundaries, permits, and construction during land development projects.

Icheon City to Offer "Cadastral Survey Pre-Consulting" for Land Development Projects

The cadastral confirmation survey is a procedure that finalizes land boundaries based on the actual construction status at the completion stage of a project. However, issues such as re-construction, project plan changes, and delays in completion have repeatedly occurred due to construction differing from the project plan or improper boundary setting.

The city plans to conduct on-site pre-consulting before the cadastral confirmation survey results inspection. This will involve checking the appropriateness of boundary settings for the project area, verifying consistency between permit details and construction status, and reviewing land designation matters, as well as providing guidance on possible improvements.

The city expects that operating this pre-consulting system will help ensure the stable progress of land development projects and reduce unnecessary costs. Further details can be found on the Icheon City Hall website.

A city official stated, "We will continue to operate the pre-consulting system to enhance the stability and administrative reliability throughout the entire land development project process."
