SKT Invites 169 Partner Companies to Share Safety and Health Cooperation Plans

SK Telecom announced on January 22 that it has invited 169 safety and health partner companies to share this year's safety and health cooperation plans.

On this day, SK Telecom plans to host 169 partner companies at SKT Tower in Euljiro, Seoul, to share the "2026 Safety and Health Mutual Cooperation Plan." The event will be attended by key executives, including Ryu Junghwan, SKT's Chief Safety and Health Officer (CSPO), Choi Hoonwon, Head of the Safety and Health Office, as well as CEOs and representatives from companies selected as top safety and health partners.

To strengthen the safety capabilities of its partners, SK Telecom will continue to operate a variety of support programs, including advanced safety training, one-on-one customized on-site consulting, operation of a safety experience center, and a safety contest for partner companies.

In addition, an awards ceremony will be held for 11 companies recognized as the best in safety and health practices. SK Telecom will present top awards to eight exemplary companies that strictly adhered to safety rules during high-risk operations such as nighttime road excavation, conduit relocation, and work inside manholes deeper than 2.5 meters, as well as to three outstanding companies that responded immediately in situations where workers' lives and safety were at risk.

Nam Youngwoo, CEO of Haesol Information & Communication, who received the Top Partner Award, said, "It is especially meaningful that we achieved results by prioritizing employee safety at the worksite together with SK Telecom," adding, "I hope that a stronger safety and health system will be established by reflecting various opinions from the field in the future."

CSPO Ryu Junghwan emphasized, "We will continue to support the enhancement of safety and health capabilities for partner company employees, recognizing that the safety of our partners is directly linked to the safety of SK Telecom," and added, "We will further strengthen worksite safety by continuously advancing our educational content and systems, including AI-based safety technologies."
