Alton, a company specializing in smart personal mobility, announced on January 21 that it has signed a strategic business agreement (MOU) with Now IB Capital (CEO Lee Seungwon) and Enox (CEO Park Jungjin, hereinafter referred to as the "holding company") to enhance corporate value and secure new growth engines.
As the first step of this agreement, Now IB Capital will participate in Alton's third-party paid-in capital increase and make a priority investment of 2 billion KRW. Based on this partnership, the three companies plan to work closely together to support Alton's sustainable growth and maximize its corporate value.
Now IB Capital, which is participating in this partnership, is a proven asset management company that ranked first in the venture investment sector in 2025. Notably, it recently completed a major cross-border M&A by acquiring the Japanese semiconductor equipment company Sunprolo System for approximately 255 billion KRW, demonstrating its influence in the global materials, parts, and equipment sector. In addition, it has achieved outstanding value-up results by discovering promising companies in various industries, such as L&C Bio and BBIA, and increasing their corporate value more than tenfold.
An Alton representative stated, "This agreement is a strategic choice to equip ourselves with future growth engines on top of a stable performance base," emphasizing, "By combining the full support of holding company Enox and the professional value-up capabilities of Now IB Capital, we will create a powerful synergy to increase Alton's corporate value."
A Now IB Capital representative also said, "Based on the expertise that Now IB Capital possesses, we plan to play a pivotal role in the re-rating of Alton's corporate value," adding, "We will actively provide professional insights and resources to help Alton expand beyond simple mobility manufacturing into high value-added advanced technology industries such as AI, robotics, and digital transformation (DX)."
