Ansan City to Provide Up to 400,000 Won for Moving and Daily Necessities Expenses to Housing Vulnerable Groups

This program provides support for moving expenses and the purchase of daily necessities when housing vulnerable groups relocate to public or private rental housing. In order to substantially ease the financial burden that arises during the relocation process, the city will expand the number of beneficiaries starting this year.

Eligible applicants are those who have been selected as tenants for public rental housing through the “Housing Upgrade Support Program” or residents who have been confirmed to move into private rental housing. Applications can be submitted at any time throughout the year until the budget is exhausted.

Applicants must prepare the following documents: ▲rental contract ▲resident registration certificate after reporting the move-in ▲a copy of a bankbook in the applicant’s name ▲receipts for moving expenses and daily necessities. Applications must be submitted in person at the administrative welfare center in the area of the new residence within three months from the move-in date.

The support fund will be provided within 14 days from the date of application, with a maximum limit of 400,000 won.

For more information about the program, please contact the Civil Affairs Call Center (1666-1234) or the relevant administrative welfare center.
