Dongwon F&B announced on January 21 that it will open a "Bareun Eomuk" (Barun Fish Cake) pop-up store at the Mona Yongpyong Ski Resort in Pyeongchang-gun, Gangwon Province.

Launched in 2016, Dongwon F&B's "Bareun Eomuk" has established itself as a beloved brand among consumers, thanks to its concept of "fresh oil every day," with one ton of new oil used each morning to make the fish cakes. Dongwon F&B planned the "Bareun Eomuk" pop-up store so that ski resort visitors can enjoy fish cakes-a classic winter snack-while taking a break.

The Bareun Eomuk pop-up store is located in Dragon Plaza, a multi-cultural space within Mona Yongpyong. The store offers a variety of menu items, including Bareun Eomuk, Dongwon's "dim sum" products such as shrimp hakao and xiaolongbao, and dishes made with "Double Crunch Chicken." In addition, a brand experience zone has been set up with a raffle event and a photo booth, allowing visitors to naturally engage with the Dongwon F&B brand. The Bareun Eomuk pop-up store will operate until March 15.

Since last year, Dongwon F&B has been conducting experiential marketing by operating pop-up stores at ski resorts and marine resorts to provide unique brand experiences. The company plans to continue promoting the Dongwon F&B brand through experiential marketing at various cultural and leisure venues in the future.
