Samil PwC and Bigs Data Partner to Jointly Develop 'AI-Based Management Intelligence Agent'

On January 21, Samil PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) announced that it had entered into a strategic partnership with Bigs Data, a software development company, the previous day to build a data-driven artificial intelligence (AI) analytics platform for enterprises. Through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) focused on developing an 'AI-based Management Intelligence Agent,' the two companies will collaborate to support data-driven decision-making innovation and digital transformation (DX) for domestic companies.

According to the agreement, Samil PwC will be responsible for advancing the interpretation standards for key performance indicators (KPIs), work context, and decision-making logic into a system that can be understood by AI. Bigs Data will support this by handling data collection and consistency management, visualization technology, and the development of generative business intelligence (BI) technologies.

The AI-based decision support service to be introduced by the two companies will include: ▲ automatic data consistency verification ▲ automated generation of narrative reports on business performance and key issues ▲ cause analysis and evidence presentation linked to BI dashboards ▲ and AI agent functions that propose additional actions within business workflows. By leveraging these features, companies are expected to significantly reduce the time spent on report writing and data interpretation, while establishing a consistent, data-driven decision-making framework.

The two sides plan to initially focus on the management domain of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) organizations and gradually expand the scope of services. In addition, they will sequentially launch industry-specific AI agents and generative BI packages, and will actively pursue joint marketing and commercialization based on models validated through customer projects.

Seunghwan Lee, AX Node Leader at Samil PwC, stated, "Digital innovation and AI-based management analytics are now essential tasks in every industry," adding, "The significance of this agreement lies in implementing AI not just as a simple tool, but as a core infrastructure that transforms the way companies make decisions."

Daejung Kim, CEO of Bigs Data, added, "By combining Samil PwC's professional insights with Bigs Data's data and AI platform capabilities, we are now able to provide a powerful analytics tool that helps solve real business problems for companies."
