Introducing "MileEZ," a Rewards Service That Offers More Benefits and Fun the More You Use It
Expanded Non-Face-to-Face Daily and Financial Services Including Passport Number Changes, Utility Bill Payments, and Certificate Issuance
On January 21, Hana Bank announced that it has enhanced the financial features of its foreign customer-exclusive financial platform, "Hana EZ," to improve financial accessibility and daily convenience for foreign customers.
Through this upgrade, Hana Bank has introduced a new rewards service called "MileEZ" within the Hana EZ app, offering foreign customers a wider range of services and benefits. In addition, the bank has significantly strengthened its non-face-to-face services, allowing customers to easily access various daily and financial services-such as customer identification registration, passport number changes, utility bill payments, and the issuance of various certificates-without visiting a branch.
With Hana EZ, customers can now accumulate "MileEZ" points by using a variety of financial services, such as setting up exchange rate alerts, making overseas remittances, and designating foreign exchange banks, as well as participating in non-financial activities like daily check-ins, spinning the roulette wheel, inviting friends, and searching for flight tickets. The more they use the app, the more benefits they earn, and customers who achieve monthly goals can receive gifticons.
Additionally, tasks that previously required an in-person branch visit, such as customer identification registration or changing a passport number, can now be easily completed through Hana EZ. In particular, the bank has established a one-stop process that allows customers to apply for overseas remittance transaction banks immediately after changing their passport number, further enhancing convenience for foreign customers' financial transactions.
Moreover, Hana Bank has strengthened daily convenience features so that foreign customers can handle everything in one app-from issuing various certificates essential for living in Korea, such as transaction statements, balance certificates, certificates of foreigner registration, and health insurance qualification certificates, to paying utility bills like electricity, water and sewage, and national health insurance premiums.
To commemorate this enhancement of Hana EZ, Hana Bank is also holding an event. Until March 31, foreign customers who use overseas remittance services through Hana EZ will be entered into a draw to win a 1-don gold key (1 winner) or a 10,000 KRW convenience store mobile voucher (249 winners).
For more information about the event, customers can refer to the Hana EZ app or contact the Hana Bank foreign exchange customer center.
An official from Hana Bank's Foreign Exchange Business Support Department stated, "With this enhancement of Hana EZ, we hope foreign customers can easily handle financial work non-face-to-face and enjoy various financial benefits in their daily lives. We will continue to introduce Hana Bank's unique, differentiated daily and financial services so that foreign customers can conveniently use them in their native languages."
Meanwhile, Hana Bank provides tailored financial services for foreign customers, including 17 Sunday operating branches nationwide, a foreign customer-exclusive counter at the Myeongdong EZ One Center, and insurance services for foreign workers through the Hana EZ app, which supports 16 languages.
