'Food Service AI' Le Mong Secures 1 Billion Won Pre-Series A Investment from D.CAMP and Bluepoint Partners

Aiming to Become the Leading AI Company in the Food Service Market

Le Mong, a startup specializing in artificial intelligence (AI) for the food service industry, announced on January 21 that it has secured a pre-Series A investment of 1 billion won from D.CAMP, the Banks Foundation for Young Entrepreneurs, and accelerator Bluepoint Partners.

With this investment, Le Mong's total accumulated funding has reached 1.7 billion won. Notably, Bluepoint Partners participated in this follow-up investment after also joining the seed round.

Founded in 2023, Le Mong is driving digital transformation in the food service sector through its proprietary “Luminir AI” technology. The company currently serves more than 15,000 small business locations, as well as major domestic and international franchise brands such as Lotteria, Goobne Chicken, and Pizza Hut.

The company’s financial performance is also solid. Le Mong achieved profitability within one year of its founding and has remained profitable for two consecutive years. It continues to expand steadily, with an annual customer growth rate exceeding threefold each year.

The core service, “Ddaetgeulmong,” an AI review management solution, boasts the largest user base in the industry. “Ddaetgeulmong Biz,” an AI customer relationship management solution for franchise headquarters, has also strengthened its market presence by being adopted by more than 20 brands, including Bong Group and Lotteria, within just seven months of its launch.

Le Mong plans to use the new investment to further develop “Bizmong,” its comprehensive marketing AI agent, and to recruit top talent. Bizmong is an all-in-one marketing automation service designed for small businesses, covering everything from consulting and content creation to channel management and performance analysis.

Le Mong’s co-CEOs, Lee Heeyong and Kim Bohyung, stated, “D.CAMP’s investment is a recognition of Le Mong’s technological capabilities and business growth potential,” adding, “With this investment as a stepping stone, we aim to become the leading AI company in the food service market.”
