On January 19, Lee Seungchan, Chairman of Gyeryong Construction, emphasized, "Let us proactively respond to the rapidly changing times and create a sustainable future for Gyeryong through structural improvement and bold innovation."
Chairman Lee made these remarks at the 56th anniversary ceremony held at the Gyeryong Construction headquarters in Tanbang-dong, Daejeon, on the same day. The ceremony was attended by executives, employees, and representatives of partner companies.
During the ceremony, long-serving employees, outstanding staff members, excellent departments and sites, and exemplary partner companies were recognized and awarded.
Founded in 1970, Gyeryong Construction has grown to become the 15th-ranked construction company in the national construction capability assessment. Last year, the company was evaluated as having achieved a 'turnaround' in performance through selective order management, aggressive cost control, conservative financial operations, and portfolio diversification.
This year, the company plans to secure both quantitative growth and qualitative reinforcement through strategic order acquisition. A representative from Gyeryong Construction stated, "We aim to further strengthen Gyeryong's unique competitiveness across public, private, and development projects," adding, "In the distribution and leisure sectors as well, we will overcome the economic downturn by diversifying our platforms and implementing differentiated marketing strategies based on enhanced service quality."
