Two neighborhoods will be covered each day, with sessions held at 10:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Mayor Kim Kyungho will personally present last year’s outstanding projects and this year’s major work plans. The sessions will highlight the "Top 10 Outstanding Projects of Gwangjin District for 2025" as selected by residents, share progress on the 2040 Gwangjin Re-Creation Plan, address the removal of illegal street vendors around Gangbyeon and Konkuk University stations, and discuss the implementation of the six-day-per-week household waste collection system, among other major policy achievements.

This year has been designated as the "Year of Balanced Development Implementation," and Mayor Kim will explain the ongoing direction for the 2040 Gwangjin Re-Creation Plan and the main work plans for six core areas. Key topics include narrowing regional disparities through balanced development, promoting inclusive welfare, revitalizing the local economy and expanding youth support, strengthening cultural and educational infrastructure, creating a clean and safe living environment, and fostering open and communicative administration.

During the Q&A session with residents, Mayor Kim will personally listen to their suggestions and concerns regarding daily inconveniences and provide responses. Despite the cold weather, many residents attended the first work briefing session held in Jayang 3-dong on this day, showing high interest in the district’s new year administrative direction and major projects.

Mayor Kim Kyungho stated, "The district office work briefing sessions are an important opportunity to meet residents in person, share the district’s vision, and incorporate voices from the field into policy," adding, "This year as well, we will deliver changes and results that residents can truly feel."

The district office work briefing sessions will be broadcast live on the Gwangjin District Office YouTube channel, allowing residents who cannot attend in person to watch the proceedings.
