Jeonnam Development Corporation announced on the 19th that it held a public lottery event on the 18th at 2 p.m. in Gwangyang City and Muan County to select residents for the 'City Area Full Occupancy Housing.'

The lottery event was conducted separately for Gwangyang City and Muan County, with the event held at Seonghwang Sports Center in Gwangyang City and the 10th floor auditorium of Jeonnam Development Corporation in Muan County, respectively.

Gwangyang City drew significant attention, recording a competition rate of 154 to 1 for the general youth supply. A total of 146 applicants from Gwangyang City and 31 from Muan County participated in the public lottery, and five residents from each region, ten in total, were finally selected as residents.

Notably, Gwangyang City included the first supply targeting self-reliant youth, drawing attention as a meaningful case supporting the stable independence of vulnerable groups in housing.

The City Area Full Occupancy Housing is a Jeonnam-style residential welfare project that provides housing at a monthly rent of around 10,000 won, allowing young people, newlywed couples, and vulnerable groups to reside for up to six years.

Jang Chungmo, President of Jeonnam Development Corporation, stated, "This City Area Full Occupancy Housing project is characterized by significantly reducing housing costs by utilizing vacant units in existing public rental housing," and added, "We will continue to expand residential welfare models tailored to local conditions to support housing stability for residents."
