The Village Community Committee is an organization responsible for establishing comprehensive support plans for village communities, selecting projects through open calls, providing project advisory services, and suggesting directions for resident education. The committee consists of a total of 19 members, including public officials, village community experts, and ordinary citizens with experience and insight, and is tasked with advising on and reviewing overall village community policies.
Seventeen committee members attended the meeting that day, and Lee Tae-eun, an honorary professor at Sahmyook University, was elected as vice chairman. In-depth discussions were held on the comprehensive support plan for village communities for 2026, and the members presented effective policy implementation strategies and opinions based on their field experience and expertise. The city plans to actively incorporate the committee’s suggestions into the comprehensive support plan.
