This training was attended by 28 urban garden experts who have obtained the Urban Agriculture Manager certification, with a focus on strengthening practical skills to guide trainees in the field.

The curriculum included immediately applicable courses such as understanding urban agriculture programs through examples of school garden operations, methods for instructing various garden education activities, and guidelines for writing ecological program plans. These contents received a highly positive response from the trainees.

In particular, participants commented, "We were able to easily understand field management methods thanks to the instructor's real teaching experience and extensive sharing of cases," and added, "Learning specific response strategies for unexpected situations that may arise in the field was a great help in enhancing our practical capabilities."

Additionally, some suggested that future training courses should further strengthen hands-on components to support intuitive understanding for learners, such as developing detailed activities by age and level and utilizing mock lecture videos.

Choi Yoonjung, Head of the Rural Resources Division, stated, "The aim of this training is to nurture experts who can provide meticulous, tailored guidance for citizens starting their first garden," and added, "We hope they will grow into reliable experts who can help beginners overcome challenges from garden cultivation to eco-friendly pest control."

She continued, "Starting with advanced training courses for urban agriculture instructors in February and March, Yangju City plans to operate customized urban garden programs from May to October, as well as field expert job creation initiatives such as on-site Eco School Farm visits and companion plant services. We ask for citizens' interest and active participation."
