Dongducheon City in Gyeonggi Province is launching the "Youth Job-Seeking Cost Package Support" (also known as the Dongducheon Youth Success Support Set) to reduce the financial burden on young people preparing for employment and to encourage their job search activities.
This program provides financial support for expenses incurred during interview and exam preparation. For those preparing for interviews, the city will cover costs such as purchasing or renting interview suits, photo shoots, and hair and makeup services. For those preparing for exams, support will be provided for textbook purchases and course fees.
Youth preparing for interviews can receive up to 170,000 won in support, with specific items including up to 120,000 won for purchasing or renting interview suits, 20,000 won for photo shoots, and 30,000 won for hair and makeup services. Youth preparing for exams can choose the necessary services within an annual limit of 100,000 won, with support categories such as course fees (up to 100,000 won) or textbook purchases (up to 30,000 won).
Applications can only be submitted online through the Integrated Job Support Project Application System. Depending on the service for which support is requested, applicants must submit supporting documents such as interview confirmation forms, admission tickets, or receipts. The amount spent will be reimbursed in the form of local currency.
Meanwhile, from May, applicants for language or certification exams can receive up to 300,000 won per year in exam fee support through the "Gyeonggi Youth Capacity Enhancement Opportunity Support Project." If the budget for this project is exhausted, additional support will be provided through the Youth Job-Seeking Cost Package Support program.
