Dongducheon City in Gyeonggi Province announced on January 19 that it will be accepting applications for the 2026 Community Social Services Investment Project from January 22 to February 6.
The Community Social Services Investment Project aims to improve the quality of life for local residents by providing customized social service vouchers (electronic vouchers) tailored to the characteristics and needs of the community. Through this initiative, the city seeks to enhance community welfare and create jobs in the social services sector.
There are four service categories open for applications: psychological support services for children, emotional development support services for children, rental services for assistive devices for people with disabilities, and massage services for the visually impaired. Eligibility is based on income, age, and need criteria specific to each program. Detailed application requirements can be found on the Dongducheon City Hall website.
Applications can be submitted by visiting the administrative welfare center in the applicant’s residential district, or online via the Bokjiro website and mobile app. Selected participants will be notified in February, and services will be available from March 1, 2026, through the end of February 2027.
An official from Dongducheon City stated, “The Community Social Services Investment Project provides customized welfare services tailored to the individual needs of residents,” adding, “We will do our utmost to provide guidance and support so that those in need can access services in a timely manner.”
