How Is Advanced Aquaculture Achieved?... Pukyong National University and National Taiwan Ocean University Hold International Joint Academic Exchange Event

Pukyong National University held an international joint academic exchange event with National Taiwan Ocean University.

The College of Fisheries Science at Pukyong National University (Dean Kim Youngmok) announced on January 19 that it hosted an international joint academic exchange event at National Taiwan Ocean University from January 12 to 15.

More than 80 faculty and staff members from both Pukyong National University and National Taiwan Ocean University participated in the event, conducting academic seminars, exchanging academic information, and discussing ways to expand joint research and student exchange between the two universities.

During the academic seminar, the latest research findings in the fields of advanced aquaculture, fish immunology and genetics, and food safety were presented, and more than 70 research posters were exhibited.

Following the academic seminar, the two universities agreed to continuously strengthen their foundation for international academic exchange and joint research cooperation through campus tours, consultations for international students, and discussions on the development of internationalization programs.

The College of Fisheries Science at Pukyong National University is committed to expanding its global research network and enhancing international competitiveness in the marine and fisheries sectors through partnerships with sister universities such as National Taiwan Ocean University.
