This year, the city added five units in Miyang-myeon to the existing one unit in Anseong 2-dong. There is no monthly rent, and residents are only required to pay for utilities and maintenance fees. Eligible applicants are Anseong citizens who are experiencing crises such as domestic violence, abuse, rental fraud, or forced eviction, but are unable to access other housing welfare benefits.
The housing units are approximately 43 square meters each, and recipients are selected based on vacancy status and other considerations. The city supports citizens in crisis by linking this initiative with assistance programs at the Housing Welfare Center and the administrative welfare centers in towns and districts.
