This program was designed to strengthen AI-related teaching competencies based in the region and to foster practical AI educators. It targeted elementary, middle, and high school teachers, school administrative staff, private academy instructors, university faculty and staff, and education experts working in Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province. Through this initiative, both online and offline training was provided to enhance capabilities in designing generative AI-integrated teaching and learning and in developing e-learning content using the forum-based real-time online class service (Class).

A total of 31 participants attended the offline training-5 in the first session and 26 in the second-with an average satisfaction score of 96.1 out of 100. The curriculum began with a lecture on "Case-Based Methods for Operating AI-Integrated Classes" by Gan Jinsuk, Director of the Center for Educational Innovation at Hallym University, followed by ▲"Methods for Developing E-Learning Content for AI-Integrated Classes" (Professor Hyunseok Hwang, Department of Business Administration) ▲"Development of AI-Based E-Learning Content Using the Forum-Based Real-Time Online Class Service (Class)" (Director Gan Jinsuk and Professor Hyunseok Hwang) ▲and presentations of project outcomes.

One participant in the training shared, "I am responsible for education for seniors. Although it was my first time using generative AI, the training enabled me to directly create educational content for blood pressure prevention, which was very helpful." Another participant commented, "I was impressed by how the use of prompts and the process of creating visual materials could be effectively applied to public sector education settings."

Gan Jinsuk, Director of the Center for Educational Innovation at Hallym University, stated, "Through this program, we hope to enhance both the understanding and practical competencies of local teachers regarding AI-integrated education, and to foster the spread of an AI-based learning culture throughout the education field in Gangwon. We plan to continue promoting AI education programs in the future as well."
