Director Lim Seontaek of Parangsae Eye Clinic donated 5 million won to Park Heungchul, Secretary General of the Gwangju Community Chest of Korea, for the Hope Sharing Campaign. Provided by the Gwangju Community Chest of Korea
The Gwangju Community Chest of Korea (hereafter referred to as Gwangju Sarangui Yeolmae) announced on January 19 that Parangsae Eye Clinic has donated a total of 5 million won for the "Hope 2026 Sharing Campaign" and to support winter supplies for the elderly.
The donation ceremony was held on January 16 at the Planning Office on the 10th floor of Parangsae Eye Clinic in Dong-gu, with attendees including Director Lim Seontaek, Administrative Director Lim Chaewoo, Manager An Junhyeong, and Park Heungchul, Secretary General of Gwangju Sarangui Yeolmae.
This donation was made possible through the joint efforts of Parangsae Eye Clinic’s Director Lim Seontaek, Director Kim Changryong, Director Moon Hyeongjin, Director Lee Junseong, Director Kang Yeonsu, Director Kim Younghui, and Director Moon Jayoung. Of the total, 3 million won will be allocated to the Hope 2026 Sharing Campaign fund and used for emergency support such as living expenses, heating costs, and medical expenses for vulnerable groups in the Gwangju area. The remaining 2 million won will be used to provide winter supplies for local seniors through the Seobitmaru Senior Center.
Director Lim Seontaek of Parangsae Eye Clinic stated, "I am grateful to be able to give back the love we have received from the local community," adding, "I decided to make this donation with the hope that it will provide some help to seniors struggling with the harsh winter cold."
Park Heungchul, Secretary General of Gwangju Sarangui Yeolmae, expressed, "We are deeply grateful for the warm-hearted sharing by Parangsae Eye Clinic, which considered both vulnerable groups and seniors," and added, "We will use the donated funds transparently and responsibly, in accordance with the donor’s wishes."
