Operated on a Secure Payment System
On January 19, Danggeun announced that it will fully implement the 'Instant Purchase' feature for e-coupon (mobile coupon) transactions. Instant Purchase is a one-stop transaction method that covers everything from payment to item receipt, with a secure payment system applied by default to protect users.
Through this update, Danggeun has established a dedicated e-coupon category and now operates all e-coupon transactions-such as gifticons containing barcodes or PIN numbers-using the Instant Purchase method. This significantly enhances both the safety and convenience of the digital coupon trading environment.
This update was initiated in response to the need for user protection specific to e-coupon transactions. Due to the nature of e-coupons, which are delivered and used in the form of digital codes such as barcodes or PIN numbers, there is a risk of trading already-used coupons or tampering with coupon information. As a result, a more systematic protection mechanism has been required throughout the transaction process. In response, Danggeun has applied the Instant Purchase method, optimized for e-coupon trading, to strengthen both user protection and transaction convenience.
The usage method is simple. When a seller uploads an e-coupon image, the barcode or PIN number is automatically recognized and registered. Buyers can simply click the Instant Purchase button to make a payment without any separate negotiation process. Once the payment is complete, the e-coupon information registered by the seller is immediately and securely delivered only to the buyer. After the buyer verifies the validity of the e-coupon and confirms the purchase within 48 hours, the transaction is finalized.
A Danggeun representative stated, "We have reduced potential risk factors inherent in e-coupon transactions and created an environment where users can trade more conveniently," adding, "We will continue to prioritize user protection and convenience as our core values and will keep advancing the transaction environment."
