for Children from Welfare Facilities in Wanju, Jeonbuk
Why did children from welfare facilities in Jeonbuk, far from the sea, visit Busan Port?
Children from Seondeok Orphanage in Wanju County, Jeonbuk, enjoyed a winter break marine experience camp in the Busan sea, sponsored by Panstar Group. Panstar Group gifted children from an inland orphanage the opportunity to tour the Busan sea.
A total of 52 participants, including 34 children living at Seondeok Orphanage and accompanying staff, took part in the event held on January 15.
Children from Seondeok Orphanage are viewing the scenery around Busan North Port from the deck of the Panstar Grace ship.
The children boarded the "Panstar Grace," the largest coastal cruise ship in Korea recently launched by Panstar Group, and enjoyed the scenery and sunset of Busan's North Port, Yeongdo, Jodo, and Oryukdo.
They also created unforgettable memories by enjoying a variety of cultural programs on board, including an electric violin performance and a singing contest.
Seong Jehwan, Director of Seondeok Orphanage, said, "I am deeply grateful to Panstar Group for providing the children with a winter break gift they will remember for the rest of their lives. I hope this experience will inspire the children to envision a broader world and their future dreams."
A representative from Panstar Group stated, "We plan to continuously expand a variety of social contribution programs in collaboration with the local community, utilizing the Grace."
Seondeok Orphanage is a child welfare facility in Wanju County, Jeonbuk, currently home to 34 children.
Panstar Group, a comprehensive shipping and logistics company, launched the 2,580-ton coastal cruise ship "Panstar Grace" in December last year and now operates cruise products touring major marine attractions around Busan Port.
