Hwaseong City to Support Brokerage and Moving Fees for Youth... Applications Open Until March 6

Up to 300,000 Won for Brokerage Fees
and 400,000 Won for Moving Expenses Provided

Hwaseong City in Gyeonggi Province will be accepting applications for the "2026 First Half Youth Real Estate Brokerage Fee and Moving Expense Support Program" from January 19 to March 6, in an effort to ease the housing cost burden for young people.

Those selected as beneficiaries will receive actual expense support for brokerage fees and moving costs, up to a maximum of 500,000 won. The support limits are set at 300,000 won for brokerage fees and 400,000 won for moving expenses per category.


The program will support up to 200 individuals. Eligible applicants are non-homeowning youth aged 19 to 39 who have either moved into Hwaseong City or completed a move-in report within the city after relocating, from January 1 of the previous year up to the application date.


Applicants must meet all of the following criteria: a lease deposit of 500 million won or less; a housing area of 60 square meters or less (or up to 85 square meters if living with family members); currently residing in a jeonse or monthly rental; and a household income at or below 180% of the median income standard.


However, the following are excluded from eligibility: those whose landlord is a direct lineal ascendant of the applicant or their spouse; recipients of the National Basic Livelihood Security Program (except for those receiving educational benefits); and those who have already received support for brokerage or moving expenses from central government ministries or other local governments.
