Icheon City in Gyeonggi Province is accepting applications for the "Youth Farmer (Youth Farm) Settlement Support Fund Program" to foster future agriculture until February 9.
This program, which the city has been implementing since 2024, is a follow-up to the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs' Youth Farmer Farming Settlement Support Program, designed to supplement the unstable household income of young farmers.
Eligible applicants are those aged 18 or older but under 45 (born between January 1, 1981 and December 31, 2007) whose vouchers from the Ministry of Agriculture's Youth Farmer Farming Settlement Support Program have expired or will expire in March, and who continue to maintain full-time independent farming. Selected participants will receive a monthly living expense voucher worth 1 million won for two years.
Interested individuals can apply in person at the Human Resources Development Team of the Agricultural Promotion Division at the Icheon Agricultural Technology Center. For more details, please contact the Human Resources Development Team at the city's Agricultural Technology Center.
