Xperix, an artificial intelligence (AI) solutions provider, announced on January 19 that it actively engaged in on-site business development activities to pioneer overseas markets and expand its business by directly participating in 'Intersec 2026,' a global security and safety industry exhibition held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE), from January 12 to 14 (local time).
Intersec is the largest security-focused exhibition in the Middle East, attracting government agencies, public institutions, security-related companies, and buyers from the Middle East, Southwest Asia, and North Africa. Through this exhibition, Xperix strengthened its networking with stakeholders in the region's public and security markets and focused on identifying new business opportunities.
During the exhibition, Xperix maintained a presence at the venue, conducting numerous business meetings with overseas buyers and public sector representatives. Ongoing discussions are underway regarding projects with the Kuwait Immigration Department, state police in India, Pakistan's National ID (NID) authentication, Sri Lanka's correctional institutions (prisons), and the Indian Embassy in the UAE. Additional meetings were also held concerning business with the Ministry of Interior (MOI) in Saudi Arabia.
Xperix has positioned the expansion into overseas public and security markets, centered on its AI-based biometric recognition technology for border control, public safety, and identity authentication, as a core pillar of its mid- to long-term business strategy.
At Intersec 2026, Xperix highlighted its new product, the 'RealScan SG10,' featuring an AI-powered fake fingerprint detection solution, which garnered significant interest from local buyers. Additionally, the 'RealScan-FC,' a palm scanner capable of recognizing palm prints, is also expected to lead to potential business opportunities as its applicability in various public and security sectors was recognized.
A Xperix representative stated, "Our participation in Intersec 2026 was meaningful as it allowed us to meet local buyers and public sector stakeholders in person, gauge market response, and engage in substantive business discussions. With palm scanner sales having grown significantly in 2025, we plan to further refine and strengthen our overseas market entry strategy for the Middle East and neighboring regions, based on the meetings and discussions held during the exhibition."
Meanwhile, Xperix plans to leverage its participation in Intersec 2026 in Dubai as an opportunity to continuously expand its network in major overseas markets, including the Middle East, Southwest Asia, and North Africa, and to strengthen its position in the global public and security markets, ultimately achieving long-term overseas business success.
