Strengthening Food and Beverage Brands in the 3rd Floor Station Zone
Hanwha Connect announced on January 19 that it has renovated the Station Zone on the 3rd floor of Connect Place Seoul Station, a multi-purpose shopping and cultural space, to mark the New Year.
This renovation focused on creating a space where travelers using trains, nearby office workers, and local residents can enjoy relaxation in their daily lives, under the concept of "rest."
To enhance its food and beverage offerings, new brands are being introduced. Most notably, in response to demand for premium cafes, the specialty coffee brand Terarosa will open. In addition to the existing popular "Platform Seoul Blend" coffee beans, exclusive menu items such as "Platform Seoul Kouign-Amann" and "Platform Seoul Coffee Kouign-Amann" will be available only at the Seoul Station location.
The selection of healthy food options is also being strengthened. The health-focused brand Preppers is newly joining, offering healthy menu items that can be enjoyed quickly by office workers and busy travelers near Seoul Station. In particular, items such as the Grilled Chicken Pumpkin Egg Sandwich, Grilled Chicken Club Sandwich, Cobb Salad, and Fat-Free Greek Yogurt will be exclusive to the Seoul Station location.
Along with the opening of new stores, the entire space has been revamped. The flow of movement connecting to the waiting area has been completely reorganized, and an open structure has been applied to encourage travelers to naturally spend time in the space. In particular, the exterior facades of existing brands such as Taegukdang and Milbon have been updated to match the overall interior tone, creating a unified "premium food and beverage (F&B) zone" across the entire floor.
A Hanwha Connect representative stated, "Connect Place Seoul Station has now established an even more diverse food and beverage lineup, including existing brands such as Taegukdang, Milbon, Ttamttam, and Hohouseom. This spatial renewal is part of a strategy to solidify its status as a landmark where gastronomy and culture coexist, beyond simply being a transportation hub. Moving forward, we will continue to fill the space with brands and content tailored to the characteristics and purposes of each floor."
