Lotte Construction announced on January 18 that it has secured the contract for the reconstruction project of Garak Geukdong Apartment in Songpa-gu, Seoul, marking its first urban renewal project win of the new year.
This project involves reconstructing the Garak-dong area in Songpa-gu, Seoul, to build 12 apartment buildings ranging from three basement levels to 35 above-ground floors, totaling 999 units, along with various community facilities. The total construction cost is approximately 484 billion won.

Lotte Construction plans to apply its high-end residential brand, "Le El (LE-EL)," to this complex, creating "Garak Le El." With this contract, the number of projects featuring the "Le El" brand increases to 16.
To establish a landmark in the Gangnam area, Lotte Construction collaborated with the global architectural design firm JERDE to create a distinctive exterior design. The plan includes a 1.5-kilometer circular walking trail centered around the complex's central plaza and a variety of community facilities for residents, thereby enhancing the project's market appeal.
A Lotte Construction representative stated, "Based on our construction expertise, we will complete a premium landmark complex in Songpa-gu, Seoul, and deliver innovative residential value."
