BNK Kyongnam Bank has newly established a 'Management Strategy Roadmap' for 2026 to further strengthen its core foundation through innovative financial services and to build a 'One Team corporate culture.'
Kim Taehan, the bank president, is delivering the CEO message at the "2026 First Half Management Strategy Meeting."
On January 16, BNK Kyongnam Bank held the "2026 First Half Management Strategy Meeting," attended by President Kim Taehan, executives, department heads, and over 200 branch managers, to share management strategies and execution plans for sustainable growth.
At this meeting, BNK Kyongnam Bank announced "Home Run 2026!" as the meeting slogan, combining "Home," which represents the region, customers, and core foundation, with "Run," symbolizing dynamic execution and persistent challenge.
The bank also presented its 2026 management policy: "Strengthening the Core Foundation through Innovative Financial Services for Sustainable Growth."
Innovative financial services refer to future-oriented finance that expands both profitability and public value, while enhancing stability and productivity through AI and digital technologies.
Based on this management policy, the strategic tasks identified include: securing growth engines through the expansion of strategic quality assets and productive finance; realizing mutually beneficial and inclusive finance for the revitalization of the regional economy; securing future growth competitiveness through AI and digital financial innovation; and strengthening proactive risk management and establishing an integrated internal control system.
Each business group-including individual customers, corporate customers, wealth management/pensions, and AI/digital-presented a variety of execution strategies to strengthen support for the front lines based on this year’s management policy.
In particular, the meeting also provided an opportunity to share BNK Financial Group’s 2026 management policy, "Implementing Innovative Financial Services for Future Growth," and execution strategies focused on productive finance with all employees.
Through his CEO message, President Kim Taehan stated, "Let us build a 'corporate culture' centered on swift decision-making and execution, break away from individualism, and create a 'One Team corporate culture' united in purpose. I hope that all employees, who are quietly dedicating themselves to the organization in their respective roles, will become the Way Makers of BNK Kyongnam Bank."
BNK Kyongnam Bank plans to further strengthen its core foundation and foster a One Team corporate culture based on the newly established management strategy roadmap, fulfilling its role as a bank that grows together with the local community.
Meanwhile, the 2026 First Half Management Strategy Meeting included not only the sharing of management strategies, but also a professional staff forum, a performance evaluation awards ceremony, and internal control training.
