Yangsan City Supports Job Interviews
with Suit Rental Service for Youth
Amid a challenging job market, Yangsan City has stepped forward to support local youth who may lack a proper suit for interviews.
Yangsan City in Gyeongnam Province will launch the Youth Interview Suit Rental Business starting January 19, 2026.
This initiative aims to ease the financial burden on young job seekers by providing them with interview suits for rent.
Beginning this year, the number of available rentals will increase from 500 to 550, offering more opportunities. Additionally, eligibility has been expanded beyond youth residing in Yangsan City to include current students (including those expecting to graduate) at high schools and universities located in Yangsan.
These policy changes are designed to provide practical support for job preparation by allowing more young people to rent suits when needed without financial strain.
A Yangsan City official stated, "With this expansion, we hope more young people will benefit from the interview suit rental service as they prepare for employment. We will continue to develop various policies and programs to support youth employment, reduce financial burdens, and actively assist young people in achieving employment success."
According to an analysis of last year's Youth Interview Suit Rental Business, a total of 500 people used the service, with 64 successfully securing employment. In a satisfaction survey, 95% of respondents expressed overall satisfaction, demonstrating the program's tangible benefits for youth.
