Eligible applicants, as of the announcement date on the 14th, are current students, returning students, or freshmen whose own or their guardian’s registered address is in Bonghwa County, or whose family registration is based in Bonghwa County.

The selection process will take into account factors such as length of residence, academic performance, and alma mater, and the detailed criteria may differ by dormitory. Prospective applicants can check Bonghwa County's official website for detailed information through the notices and announcements section.

Kim Kyungsook, Director of Education and Family Affairs at Bonghwa County, stated, "We are doing our utmost to provide a stable residential environment so that local students can focus on their studies without financial concerns," adding, "We will continue to expand educational and settlement support policies so that students can pursue their dreams based in the region."

Meanwhile, Bonghwa County's support program for the Local Student Dormitory and Happy Dormitory is recognized as an effective educational welfare policy that helps local talent continue their studies while also strengthening the settlement base for young people in the region.
