Yeongcheon Launches "The Integrity" Project to Secure Top Integrity Ranking in 2026 Yeongcheon City held the "1st Meeting of the Integrity Yeongcheon Promotion Team" on the 16th at the City Hall Communication Room.

This meeting was organized to analyze the meaningful achievements Yeongcheon City accomplished last year and, based on these results, to set even higher integrity goals.

In the recent "2025 Comprehensive Integrity Assessment," the city achieved a remarkable milestone by moving up one level from the previous year and earning the highest rating among all cities and counties in North Gyeongsang Province.

The Promotion Team reviewed these accomplishments and reaffirmed their commitment to not only improving numerical scores but also creating a tangible environment of integrity that citizens can truly experience this year.

The city's "2026 Integrity Level-Up Project" focuses on spreading a culture of integrity through a top-down approach, with senior officials taking the lead by example.

Based on the strong commitment to integrity from the mayor and senior officials, the city plans to concentrate its administrative efforts on regular meetings of the Integrity Yeongcheon Promotion Team, integrity communication sessions, and ongoing integrity education.

Mayor Choi Kimoon emphasized, "Integrity is the foremost value that public officials must uphold and a powerful competitive edge that determines the dignity of our city," adding, "Let us all work together as one to build a Yeongcheon that earns the trust of its citizens."

A city official also stated, "We will not rest on last year's achievements, but instead focus all our administrative resources on making Yeongcheon the most transparent city in the nation."
