On January 16, KB Kookmin Bank held the 'Small Business Pop-up Festa' at the Hyundai Department Store Pangyo Branch in Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province, to support small business owners.

The 'Small Business Pop-up Festa' is a social contribution project established as part of a strategic agreement between KB Financial Group and Hyundai Department Store Group in October last year to build a financial and retail synergy cooperation model. KB Kookmin Bank and Hyundai Department Store provide small business owners with the opportunity to operate pop-up stores within Hyundai Department Store, supporting them in expanding sales channels and achieving tangible revenue growth.

This pop-up store will be open for one week until January 22 at the event hall on the first basement level of Hyundai Department Store Pangyo Branch. It was organized to enable small business owners with outstanding products and ideas to meet department store customers directly and expand their market reach.

In particular, KB Kookmin Bank is fully covering all expenses required to operate the pop-up store, allowing small business owners to focus on sales without financial burden. Hyundai Department Store is also reducing sales commissions for participating small business owners to help drive actual revenue growth. Through these efforts, the two companies are practicing inclusive finance that encompasses both financial and non-financial support, thereby contributing to strengthening the foundation for small business owners' independence.

A representative from KB Kookmin Bank stated, "We hope this pop-up store will serve as an opportunity to provide small business owners with a better sales environment and new opportunities," adding, "We will continue to listen to the voices of small business owners and fulfill our social responsibility for shared growth through field-oriented support."
